Quarter 3 Ethics in Brave New World
Brave New World has a lot of controversies like drug used, man-made humans and casual sex that state throughout the story. They predicted that these are the ways we would be living in the future. All of these factors are connected to ethics and depending on the person, can be ethically wrong or right. In the end, it should be one's own decision.
In Brave New World, sex was treated as a normal things where as it became meaning less."We had Elementary Sex for the first forty minutes," she answered. "But now it's switched over to Elementary Class Consciousness.” they made sex so normal they started teach young children.In modern day life we see more and more “one night stands and friends with benefit” as a normal thing. It is projected through movies, that now we have just adopted and accepted it. I found this unethical in this world.
Babies were created by genetic engineering. No one had a say. There were certain genes that needed to be modified, in order to create a perfect baby.
Oscar Wilde's Argument Timed-Write

Quarter 3 Reflection
Overall, I enjoyed this quarter. I feel that I got a lot of practice on timed-writes :)))))). I enjoyed the debates we had at the end of the quarter. Those were really fun, especially when Shaun dropped the mic on Justin. I can't for college prep this quarter! It is the last quarter before we all become seniors! I like to be prepared and have all my college application ready for the first day when colleges open the application entries. On November 1st, there will always be servers cracking down due to everyone trying to turn it in last minute. I love college prep and I have been waiting for this all year.
